Synopsis
This story relates to the story of love and affection which Amar made immortal.

Prem was a poor man and Preeti was the only daughter of Millionaire Seth Heerachand. Seth Heerachand created a wall of misunderstanding between Preeti and Prem, two lovers. Preeti began to think that Prem did not love her but loved her riches. And Prem began to think that the poor daughter of the millionaire father rejected him on account of his poverty.

But, in their lives a crisis of conscience took place. Preeti realized that she was going to become the mother of a child which she did not desire and wasn’t prepared for under any circumstances.

In the meantime, Heerachand planned another drama. He sent Preeti away and when Rahul was born he told Preeti that she had given birth to a dead child. Rahul was entrusted to Prem on the condition that the fact that a son had been born would not be divulged to anybody else.

When Rahul grew up, Prem came to know that he (Rahul) wasn’t taken care of and also that he was a victim of polio who would perhaps never be able to stand on his own legs again.

Dr. Amar undertook the responsibility of giving treatment to Rahul. He took an oath that as long as Rahul did not stand on his own legs, he would not marry.

Amar fell in love with Preeti and he got himself engaged with her for marriage.

One day Prem and Preeti come face to face by chance. Rahul began to look upon Preeti and Preeti upon Rahul with affection, as though they were mother and son. Seth Heerachand stood nonplussed and one day, Dr. Amar found out about all the facts regarding Prem, Preeti and Rahul.

And what happens next? Do the Mother and son, the two lovers and fiance unite or not?
