Synopsis
Ram Shastra is the saga of an honest police officer who is entangled in the web of crime.
It is the tale of inspector Ram who is in the wake to wipe out the terror of Donga – the uncrowned king of underworld from the city. One day he finds himself on the other side of the law when Satpal, the brother of Donga’s main hit man, is arrested red handed committing a murder by his partner Kavi. But Ram and Kavi’s corrupt colleagues let Satpal off on the behest of Donga’s lawyer who gets his release order minutes after his arrest.
After his release, Satpal starts terrorizing Ram’s family and pushes Ram to an edge where he cannot decide whether to protect the city or his family. But Ram’s wife Anjali tells him to fight back and not to worry about them. One day Ram gets evidence of Donga committing a murder, but somehow Donga gets this information. An enraged Donga order’s Ram and his family to be eliminated. In the attack, Ram’s family is wiped out but Ram survives. Satpal leaves drugs at Ram’s house and Ram is convicted as a criminal in court.
Ram is sentenced to 5 years in prison. But Donga wants Ram dead and declares war against him. Does Ram survive Donga’s attack? Does he get back the evidence required against Donga? Does Ram avenge his family’s death? The movie is all about that and more. Ram Shastra is the soldier truth needs for which justice awaits. |
