Synopsis
After Narayan Srivastav’s wife’s death, his life was filled with solitude and sorrow. Had it not been for his only son, eight year old Krishna, he might have committed suicide. Taking advantage of this situation his younger brother Sajjan entices him into drinking. When Krishna confronts his uncle, he gets beaten up badly and thrown out of the house.

Crying and whimpering, innocent Krishna winds up at his teacher Saraswati’s house when servant Hari comes to take him home. Krishna refuses to go. Sajjan who was on the look out for an opportunity to get rid of his brother found it one day. As they were returning by train from Poona, Sajjan got his brother drunk and killed him by pushing him out of his train, then he instructs his henchman to get rid of Krishna too. But, instead of Krishna, Saraswati’s son Suraj is thrown into the river. But police officer Khanna rescues him. However, Saraswati leaves the city with Krishna and Jyoti due to the fear of Sajjan, thus separating Suraj from his family.

As time passes by, Krishna and Suraj complete their education with the help of their respective families, Suraj becomes a police officer and Krishna a school teacher with his beloved Madhu by his side. On the other hand Sajjan had become rich by taking over his brother’s wealth. But his son Raghu, who was as notorious as him, joined hands with characters like Nage and Billa, who molested girls and killed them and bribed police inspector K.Dass so that they had their cases suppressed.

One evening Raghu and his gang abducted Saraswati’s student and killed her. Enraged, Saraswati revolted and in return she ends up losing her leg. Jyoti’s wedding date was fast approaching and Krishna was on his way back. But Raghu and his gang forced their way into the house, molested Jyoti and killed her.

On returning home, Krishna was horrified to see his dead sister, Saraswati demands for her “Guru Dakshina from Krishna in the form of Naag, Billa and Rahgu’s death. Krishna promises to fulfill her wish. Did Krishna fulfill his promise? Was Suraj reunited with his family? Was the union between Krishna and Madhu Possible?
