Synopsis
Amar, a young and energetic man is running from one place to another in search of a job. He makes an acquaintance with Seema at a place where a singing compettion was held.
Seema’s main aim in life was to help those women who have been the victims of men’s domination and cruelty.
Luckily, Amar succeeds in getting a job in Seth Karamchand’s (Seema’s father) office.
Durga Devi, Amar’s mother treats her daughter-in-law Sharda (her elder son’s wife) very badly because she could not bring with her enough of dowry. Even her married daughter Kanchan joins her mother in causing mental torture to poor Sharda. Kanchan’s husband Bajrangi can’t do anything because he himself is dependent on them and is living with his mother in her house.
Sharda unable to bear any more of her mother-in-law’s cruelty she leaves the house along with her young daughter Pinky. She finally knocks at her childhood friend Seema’s door. Incidentally Amar arrives there and is astonished to see Sharda and Pinky at Seema’s house, because he was told that both Sharda and Pinky had died. Amar and Seema decide to help her and arrive home to set things right and get Sharda justice for the wrong done to her. |
