Synopsis
‘Ayodhapati’ is a famous story of the place where Rama once resided in the golden chapter of the epic ‘Ramayana’.

Once upon a time there was a big war between Angels and Demons. God Indra to fight the battle calls Dashrata the king of Ayodhdhaya. Queen Kaiki too accompanied him to fight the battle. On the battlefield Demon ‘Shambarashur’ killed Dashrata’s Sarthi. (Chariot driver) Without Sarthi the Chariot loses it balance and the Neil from the wheel came out, due to which Dashrata found it difficult to fight the war. Kaiki took charge and she inserted her finger in the wheel so that the chariot could stay stable. Now Dashrata could fight the war and kill the Demon. King Dashrata was very impressed by Kaiki and asked her to ask for her reward. Kaiki said she would ask for the reward at a suitable time.

Time went on, Dashrata’s amongst his three wives Kaushalaya gave birth to Rama, Sumitra to Lakhshmana and Shatrughana and Kaiki gave birth to Bharata. It was said Kaiki loved Rama more than her own son. But Mantara did not like it.

Once again there was a war between Angels and Demon. This time Vihswamitra called Rama and Lakhshmana to fight the war. They won the battle, while returning Rama got married to Sita and Lakhsamana to Sita’s sister.

King Dashrata thought that time had come to make Prince Rama the King of Ayodhaya but Mantra did not like it and out of jealously she plans to spoil Dashrata’s plans. What happens next? Watch Ayodhyapati to know…
